ABOUT US

ADI, a nonprofit institution, was co-founded in September 2000 by Pamela Booth Bjerknes, a former dancer with American Ballet Theatre and the late Michael Bjerknes, a principal dancer with the Joffrey Ballet with financial support form Solange MacArthur.

FACILITY

Located just outside Washington DC, ADI is surrounded by great restaurants, premiere shopping areas and a metro station (within walking distance for direct access to Smithsonian museums, The Kennedy Center and all DC tourist destinations.) The facility includes 5 large dance studios with soaring 20-foot ceilings, state-of-the-art sprung floors, a Dance Library and WiFi access.

ADI’s Summer Intensive is not a residential program. There are wonderful hotels within walking distance of our studios.
